Old but gold

Hi, how are you? Today I'm going to tell you about my favorite technological device: MY COMPUTER. My computer is an old desk computer I have in my room. My mom gave it to me for Christmas when I was in third year of secondary school and I have kept it until now. I think this specific computer is my favorite because it works quickly and, principally, because I have everything I need on it: my old photos, some sketches I have scanned, some old videos from secondary and a lot of PDF's I've read and I expect to read some day. Also, I think another reason why I really like this computer is the volume of the speakers I connected it to listen music, they sound loud and clear.

Some task I do with help of my computer are making abstracts of the texts I read, I read and make presentations and documents for university and I see movies or spend time on Facebook or other social medias. I think my computer is one of the most useful devices I have, mainly because I really depend on it to do almost everything I need for university, and because it's like a big "cloud of information" where I've saved important pieces of my adolescence

Finally, I think it has also an emotional component related with the fact that was my mom who gave it to me in a special date, and I remember my friends laugh of the gift because they thought I’d have preferred a laptop instead of a desk computer, but they were wrong because I really liked, and I'm still in love of, my big and sometimes noisy old-computer.
